Access Awareness Week First Voice Panel Discussion
In recognition of Access Awareness Week 2026, the Towns and Municipalities in Lunenburg County worked with the Lunenburg County Accessibility Advisory Committee to present a First Voice Panel Discussion featuring members of our community who have lived experience of disability. They will share their experiences of living with disability and how they have worked to promote accessibility in their own way.
There will be a Flag Raising outside at 1pm and the panel discussion will start inside Council Chambers at 1:30pm.
About the Venue:
The District of Lunenburg Municipal Services Building has accessible parking, and a passenger drop off area at the entrance. There are accessible entrances with power door operators and an accessible washroom just inside the entrance to the building.
Presenters will use microphones to ensure they can be heard.
ASL interpretation will be available for the panel discussion.
