our

Mental Health

Ensuring good psychological health and safety is important. This is why the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) developed a National Standard for two areas. Click on the prefer standard for more information.

These are voluntary guidelines to help Canadian workplaces and post-secondary institutions protect and promote people’s psychological health.

You're Not Alone

If you, or a loved one is having a hard time, please do not feel like you can’t reach out. Support for mental health, addictions, and many other struggles are available to you.

If this is an emergency, or if you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call the Provincial Mental Health and Addictions Crisis Line toll-free at 1-888-429-8167 or call 911.

how to

Get Involved

We envision a future where the abilities of persons with disabilities are fully recognized, developed and living as equals in society.

Our initiatives would not be possible without the involvement of First Voice and the cross-sector collaboration from the community, government, and businesses to reach the goal of an accessible and barrier-free province.
